How is my baby big enough for a big girl bed? We all say it but it is so true…time flies!!! Maven is 2.5 years old and says she is ready for a big girl bed so off we went shopping!
The Minnen bed from Ikea is perfect for the transition. It is inexpensive $120, close to the ground, adjustable and super cute! I wanted the bed close to the wall since that is how her crib was positioned. I think it makes her feel a little more secure. With that I knew it was going to be tough to make her bed. Well at least thats what I thought until I found Beddy’s Beds bedding! Where has this been all my life?
The entire bedding set zips up like a fitted sheet making it so easy to make the bed! I saw the Vintage Blush bedding with ruffles and knew that was the one we had to have. It is the perfect blush color with the cutest ruffles.
The twin set came with a pink dot pillow case and a ruffle sham. The fabric is so soft and cozy and it washes like a dream. I couldn’t love it more but most importantly Maven loves it! She feels proud to make her bed in the morning by zipping it up. Everyday she amazes me by how fast she is growing up and how much she can do on her own, I’m a proud mama for sure.
