I’m so excited to reveal my DIY Christmas mantel that I designed with help from Thread Mama.
I can’t believe Christmas is almost here and I can’t believe I actually have a mantel to decorate for the first Holiday season ever. Dreams do come true! I knew a couple of things I wanted when I started brainstorming our mantel decor. I wanted to stay neutral with lots of texture. I love decorating for Christmas but with a boho vibe.
I started with finding those amazing nutcrackers at Michaels on sale! You can shop them below. They were the perfect bookends for our Samsung Frame tv. Next I positioned the stockings with Command hooks on the left side of the mantel. Put the stockings up first if you want to make it easy on yourself. All of my stockings are from Anthropologie but only one is still available. Linking here. I added a garland from Studio McGee layered with a garland from Joanns. It took two of each to get the right whimsical swag I wanted. I added gold star garlands from Pearl and Jane and a beautiful chunky Felt ball garland from Anthropologie (currently sold out). The name tags hanging on the stockings are from Chalk Designs by Me. The gold bells I dropped down the right side of the mantel. It finished off the whole look and really tied it all together. The bells are also sold out on Amazon. The light up ivory tree is from Joanns last year and the wooden Santa is from Joanns this year. The little white houses are from Target dollar spot. Last but not least don’t forget the twinkle lights. For balance I added two trees from Target (shop below), a basket, chunky blanket, a few garlands, fur rug and a pillow. All are from a couple years ago.
Our Samsung frame tv has been such a hit since we bought it a few months ago. You can upload your own artwork to the tv so when you are not watching tv you can display art on your screen. I just bought a light colored frame for the tv too so now I feel like it really has a custom look, you can shop the tv and magnetic frame below.
I wanted something beautiful to display on our tv that had a whimsical vibe. I knew I had to ask my friend Stacey, owner of Thread Mama if we could collaborate on a fun piece to display on the tv and to print to use around our home. If you don’t know about Thread Mama you have to go check her out! She has hundreds of gorgeous unique printables that she designs available for download. For $5 a month you have access to all of her printables and she is always adding new things. Such a deal! You can print them at home or if you want a larger print, I print mine at Walgreens or Fed Ex. I know Staples and Office Depot can do it as well. Such a fun way to change up you home decor and do fun things for each season. Stacey is so talented and seriously the sweetest person. I love supporting her and her small shop. She was kind enough to let me offer the printables that we designed together free to my followers!!! Ummm yes that is so fabulous! You can download the printables by clicking on the link to the image you want below and if you have a Samsung Frame TV you can download the files for your tv too. How amazing is that? You will see when you open the folder that you can choose which size you want to download or the tv file which will download to your Samsung TV.
I’m in love with the whimsical feel of the printables that I created with Thread Mama. These phrases embody all the warm and fuzzy feels of Christmas and the Holiday Season to me. I hope you love them as much as we do! Please let me know if you have any questions. Tag us @stephaniehannablog and @threadmama_story on Instagram when you use the printables! We would love to see how you use them in your home.
