I love planning parties! I have spent countless hours planning McKenzie’s birthday parties and for Maven’s 1st birthday too! I knew for Maven’s second birthday I just didn’t have the time to plan her party the way I wanted. I was suffering from a severe case of mom guilt. What would she think when she was older and looked back on all the parties? Would she think wow mom look at McKenzie’s 2nd birthday party at the carousel, where are the photos of mine? It’s doubtful. But you know how it is you want to do the same for each child.
With each party I always think about the birthday girl. What are her favorite things? To me it is so important to capture her loves because as time passes we forget all those cute things that she said and did that made us laugh and smile. So I set out to capture those things that she loves the most at the age of 2. Her babies, cake pops, rubber duckies, neigh neighs, donuts and Boss Baby made the list! We had so much fun with these photos and most importantly she did too! We celebrated on her actual bday with carousel rides and pizza. She was happy and so was I. Less stress and more fun! I think I may be on to something.
