You know me and photos, I can never get enough! I have to say though that this photoshoot was not my idea. I know surprise surprise. My best friend, Ang sent me a screenshot of a couple in the desert holding a giant owl and said if you and Rusty don’t do photos like this when you are on vacation in Palm Springs we aren’t friends anymore. LOL Have I told you how much I love my friends? I was like oh yes we are doing this! It’s really hard to find a giant owl to rent but its not as hard to rent a motorcycle. Rusty does ride so I think this fit us a little better anyway. One day I will find an owl though. Wait for it.
When I told Rusty what I was scheming he was 100% on board. I am so lucky that he goes along with my shenanigans and that he actually was just excited as I was. I knew I wanted an edgy look but had no idea what photographer I should use. I follow @Madmavenstyle on IG and love her work. I messaged her and she was nice enough to suggest Gilbert Pereda (@gilsphotography). I checked out his work and knew he was perfect. He was easy to work with and so nice. Rusty and I had a blast doing the photoshoot. We had so much fun trying to be bad ass outlaws. It’s a memory we will never forget and that one day our grandkids can look at and say look how cool grandma and grandpa used to be.
