Who doesn’t want to play dress up and pretend like you are a vagabond? When Oona with Isla Charm Photography told me she was doing mini sessions with a VW bus, I said, “Sign me up!” I’ve worked with Oona for 3 years and we have become besties. She is one of the most talented photographers I’ve worked with. She has a way with kids like I’ve never seen. She is based out of Boca Raton, FL. Check out her work … Isla Charm Photography
I love styling photo shoots! Especially when I can find unique clothing from small shops. Instagram is my favorite place to find amazing small shops. When I saw Harlow Jade’s striped bell-bottoms and overalls I knew that was it for this shoot. I love to coordinate the girls in outfits that match, but are a little different giving them a sense of individuality. With them being 5 years apart sometimes it’s hard to find matching outfits that suit their age. Bringing accessories to a photo shoot gives you the opportunity to have a few different looks, McKenzie’s hat is from Joyfolie. They have great clothing, shoes and accessories for girls. A fun hat or sunglasses can give you a couple pictures that have a fun, carefree vibe. I found McKenzie’s Munster Kids Shine tank at my favorite local children’s boutique Merry Love Joy.
I found my outfit at Planet Blue. I LOVE this store! They have great brands like Jens Pirate Booty, Spell, and For Love and Lemons. You can shop online. I shop at the store in Mizner Park (Boca Raton, FL) For this photo shoot I chose an off the shoulder top by Nightcap with a free flowing skirt by Blue Life. The colors were perfect, complimenting the girl’s outfits. We had a great time playing and dancing. It was so much fun, can’t wait to see what Oona comes up with next!!!
